中 国 建 筑 |
中国位于亚洲东部，太平洋的西海岸，面积达960多万平方公里。中国是一个文明古国，有着漫长而丰富的历史。中国历史通常可分为古代、现代和近现代阶段。
1840年鸦片战争标志着中国现代历史的开端。1949年10月1日中华人民共和国成立，标志着中国进入到社会主义建设阶段。
中国建筑有着独立的系统，历史悠久，范围广泛。几千年来，中国建筑以木质斗拱作为建筑的主要部分而名扬天下。直到19世纪中叶，中国建筑都没有受到外来建筑文化的影响。中国建筑的外表通常给人们留下气度不凡的印象。
传统的中国建筑与环境和哲学密切相关。在现代中国，特别是1949年之后，中国建筑业反映出国家迅猛的经济发展状况。近几年，中国建筑寻求新的突破，力图将传统特色和国际领先的概念和技巧结合起来。
