美洲规划院校联合会(ACSP)

简介
美洲规划院校联合会是有权颁发城市与区域规划学位的院校社团。ACSP成员院校由此可以表达他们的共同责任:理解城市与区域的发展动态、加强规划实践、提升新老规划师的教育水平。

ACSP致力于提升规划教育、研究和服务水平。它有责任认可规划领域多样的需求和利益。通过出版学报学刊、举行学术会议、颁发奖项、参与学位授予过程等,它努力彰显院校中规划教育的角色。ACSP认为,规划教育应延伸至课堂之外,在规划实践的天地中与规划从业人员和机构紧密相随。

 
欧洲规划院校联合会

简介
欧洲规划院校联合会1987年成立于德国多特蒙德,1992年5月,在比利时注册为非赢利组织。从事城市与区域规划领域教学与研究的欧洲院校系所通过它联系起来,构成网络,通过成员院校的定期对话、互访交流、宣传优秀研究和实践,提升教学课程与研究水平。其《宪章》指出,欧洲规划院校联合会在国际国内,尤其是欧洲组织中,代表欧洲规划院校的利益;提升规划领域教学研究的发展;鼓励欧洲规划院校间平等、和谐的交流合作,并为之提供便利;在欧洲规划教育机构合作与一体化进程中表明"欧洲的指向",正视欧洲境内专业人士流动日益频繁的趋势;通过双向支持,包括为对话、交流互访和信息传播提供便利,培育和丰富欧洲的规划高等教育;为扩大与加强规划高等教育辩护;通过思考全面的专家提升规划院校教育的进步途径,避免旧有学术单位和其他学科、职业中的恶意竞争。
 
大洋州规划院校联合会

简介
大洋州规划院校联合会是澳大利亚与新西兰规划学者的非正式组织,建制与北美洲、欧洲与亚洲的平行组织相似。联合会每年召开为期两天的年会,交流规划教育的观点与经验,年会的论文部分由主办学校结集出版。

简介
亚洲规划院校联合会于1993年8月成立于中国香港。19个成员院校来自孟加拉国、中国(包括香港、台湾)、印度、印度尼西亚、日本、韩国、马来西亚、新加坡、斯里兰卡、菲律宾、巴基斯坦、泰国和越南。亚洲规划院校联合会是一个非政治、非赢利组织。它致力于为规划师及规划院校探讨规划问题提供机会,认识理解亚洲国家的规划问题,培育亚洲新一代的规划学者和职业规划师。

APSA

The Asian Planning Schools Association (APSA) is a non-profit and non-political association that aims at providing opportunities for scholars and planners to discuss issues related to planning, to exchange opinions and understand problems of planning in Asian countries, and to foster new generations of academics and professional planners in Asia.

The Association was founded in August 1993 at the 2nd International Congress of Asian Planning Schools in Hong Kong that was organized by Dr. Anthony Yeh of the Centre of Urban Planning and Environmental Management, University of Hong Kong on 25-27 August 1993 as part of the celebration programme of the 80th anniversary of the University. This Congress was a follow up activities of the 1st International Congress of City and Regional Planning Schools/Departments of Asian Universities organized by Prof. Sadao Watanabe, Department of Urban Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Tokyo, at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan in 11-12 November 1991. In that meeting, Prof. Watanabe explored with the participants the idea of setting up a more formal organization for further exchange. This idea was further explored in the 2nd International Congress. The participants from 15 countries in Asia participated in the Congress felt that there is a need to establish a formal network for exchange and collaboration and particularly to enhance urban and regional planning education and research in Asia. Representatives from 19 planning schools in Asia from Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Pakistan, People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam agreed to form the Asian Planing Schools Association to achieve these objectives. Prof. Sadao WATANABE, Emeritus Professor of the Department of Urban Engineering, University of Tokyo, was elected first President of the Association, Assoc. Prof. Lan Yuan LIM, Head of the School of Building and Estate Management, National University of Singapore, was been elected as the Vice-President, and Dr. Anthony G.O. YEH, Assistant Director of the Centre of Urban Planning and Environmental Management, University of Hong Kong, was elected as the Secretary-General.

Activities of the Association include the organization of biennial congresses and the publication of monographs and newsletter.


ACSP

The Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning (ACSP) is a consortium of university-based programs offering credentials in urban and regional planning. Acting together, the ACSP member school faculty are able to express their shared commitments to understanding the dynamics of urban and regional development, enhancing planning practices, and improving the education of both novice and experienced planners.

The ACSP promotes education, research, service, and outreach in the United States and throughout the world. It is committed to recognizing the diverse needs and interests in planning. It seeks to strengthen therole of planning education in colleges and universities through publications, conferences, and community engagement as well as through participation in the accreditation process. The ACSP believes that planning education should extend beyond the classroom and into the world of practice working closely with practicing professionals and communities


AESOP - Association of European Schools of Planning

AESOP is a network of universities and university departments that teach and conduct research within the field of urban and regional planning. The network exists to promote the development of the teaching curricula and research within the Member Schools through regular dialogue, exchange visits and the dissemination of research and best practice.

These aims are achieved through an Annual Congress where staff and students make presentations and discuss papers on European, national, regional and local spatial planning issues, as well as debates on planning curricula. A three-day Ph.D workshop precedes the Congress. The AESOP Newsletter provides information on the activities of member schools, reports of AESOP Working Groups and other issues.
